I am from a long line of Virginia descendants; this is my home where I live, work and play. I currently live in Virginia Beach, but have lived in Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Suffolk, so I am familiar with Hampton Roads as a whole. I am aware of the arts, culture, entertainment, dining and employment opportunities. As a teacher for six years, teaching everything from Special Education to Gifted Education; I know Hampton Roads school systems, the standards of learning, curriculum and academic as well as extracurricular programs offered in the public and private schools. A graduate from Virginia Wesleyan College with a certification in Elementary Education, I taught in the public schools for six years. My first year in real estate, I achieved Circle of Excellence, selling millions of dollars of homes, and I knew this was the career for me. Education, compassion, and dedication are the key qualities I possess to match you with the home of your dreams. My goal is to build lasting relationships with clients and build my business on referrals from clients, family, and friends. Building a relationship is key, because "home is more than where you hang your hat." I consistently study the market and the neighborhoods, which I am very familiar with as a native, and I attend seminars to keep my knowledge of real estate up to date. I know the real estate in your neighborhood. My strengths are educating you on the listing and purchase contract, whether selling or buying, educating you about real estate law and language, communicating consistently, and negotiating on your behalf. I have a marketing plan I follow, just as I followed a lesson plan when I was a teacher. Every good plan consists of a goal or outcome, and a procedure to follow to reach that goal. My plan is written and implemented to see what is working as I market your home. I follow up diligently to be sure the marketing plan is effective and utilize the feedback I receive on showings for guidance to work on your behalf to get your home sold.
